Concepcion, Marikina City - Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation Inc. (CLFI) opened opportunities to ALS Learners in Marikina as it launched its 46th Alternative Learning Center –Community Learning Center last September 30 in Concepcion Elementary School, Marikina City. On behalf of DepEd Marikina, Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Eliza Cerveza thanked Cebuana Lhuillier for the partnership in her opening remarks. DepEd officials and representatives from the Marikina local government were also present in the event.
Atty. Cesar Vidal, in his message to the ALS learners, redefined ALS as “Ambisyon, Lakas ng Loob at Sipag. Always have that ALS in you!” Program Department Manager Kristina Muñiz together with Area 103 Manager Adrian Bernados turned over the learning equipment to Angelo Libuton, ALS mobile teacher and DepEd officials. Concepcion Elementary School is the first ALS-CLC to be established in Marikina City.
